What’s New in February Release?

SOFT4RealEstate new version, release date 2023 February

NEW Features in SOFT4RealEstate:

  • Lease Unit Cost entry creation on Purchase Document posting. All allocated costs would be tracked in Service Ledger entries as ‘Cost’ type entries.

Improvements:

  • Added possibility to specify whether to allocate negative Inlet Meter quantity to Lease Units. It can be configured in Real Estate Setup.
  • Lease Unit code is filled by default when creating Service Price by opening it from Lease Contract Line.
  • Marketing and CAM service filter can now include more than 1 service code or other filter.
  • New Integration events created.
  • Meter Journal entry – entry of consumption would update Read-out To field value.
  • Lease Contract Line discounts are now also linked to Lease Contract. Previously it was linked to Lease Unit only.
  • Lease Unit cost entries creation per month if Service period is more than one month. Costs are calculated by equal parts for each calendar month despite the number of days in separate months.

Bug fixes:

  • Re-Invoicing charges will not be included in checking before service journal creation. Previously it blocked fixed charge calculation if re-invoicing was done using the same service code.
  • “Previous Tenants” on Lease Unit card fixed, so that it would correctly show previous tenants of a Unit.
  • Lease Contract Line Discount calculation issue fixed.
  • Approval status on new contract version will not have any value.

    What’s Coming in SOFT4RealEstate:

    • Improved UI/UX. More role centers that can be used on mobile device by the users who don’t use PC/laptop much. Simplified pages for easier usage of the app.
    • More detailed cost analysis per Lease Unit. Each expense can be allocated to a property or unit, and this would appear on Lease Unit Ledger.
    • Reconciliation improvements will allow you to run this process smoothly with more possibilities – reconcile single contract, run reconciliation not only for property but also for a Lease Unit Group and more.
    • SOFT4RealEstate Help in BC. Users can access specific area manuals directly from the BC window.
    • Price Indexation process improvements will let you send Indexation letters for the tenants as well as it would index required Deposit amounts based on Rent price indexation.
